Engineering College Admission Test or ECAT is an entrance test which is compulsory for engineering students to take admission in Government Engineering Colleges in Punjab and some Private Engineering Colleges in Punjab. ECAT Test 2024 in Pakistan is also going to be conducted by the UET. University of Engineering and Technology UET Lahore is a government university which conducts ECAT entry test every year for engineering students. This entrance exam is a subject based test comprises upon Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English. The test is multiple choice questions MCQs based and each right answer results in 4 marks while false answer results in 1 negative mark. There are total 100 MCQs; 30 MCQs are from Mathematics, 30 MCQs are from Physics, 30 MCQs are from Chemistry and 10 MCQs are from English. For admission, 30% marks are calculated from ECAT and 70% are from Intermediate and Matriculation. UET ECAT Registrations form will be available here. Diploma Holders also have to appear in the ECAT test in order to take admission in Public Engineering universities of Punjab.

How to Apply for ECAT Test 2024:
A person can do online registration for the ECAT test 2024 in Pakistan. In order to do online registration go on UET official website and register yourself by simply entering your CNIC Number and then choose the password of your own choice. After this select your major subjects of the previous exam and write down personal details. After online form submission print out the application form and pay 350 entry test fee in HBL UET Lahore. Finally, submit your application form in the nearest test center.
