Qualification:
Qualification need for the Sub Inspector (BPS-14), Sub Inspector (Hardware) (BPS-14) and Assistant (BPS-15) is Graduation.
Education for the Stenotypist (BPS-14), UDC (BPS-11), Data Entry Operator (BPS-09) and ASI (BPS-09) is Intermediate.
Qualification for the LDC (BPS-09), Constable (BPS-05), Constable Driver (BPS-05), Constable Operator (BPS-05) and Constable (Dog Attendant) (BPS-05) is Matric.
For the remaining posts Middle or Primary education is needed.

Physical Eligibility for the Sub Inspector, ASI and Constable/Constable Driver is:
- Height for Male should be minimum 5’ Feet and 7” Inches.
- Height for Female should be 5’ Feet and 4” Inches.
- Chest size should be 32×34 Inches (For Men Only).
